This bathroom renovation project focused on creating a calm and relaxing retreat for our customer. We transformed a previously divided space into a tranquil sanctuary, guided by the customers request for a calm yet characterful environment. The design features a deep green as the main color, complemented by bursts of colours. The gorgeous Toucan tiles established the theme for the room, and the final result is a space that perfectly balances design and function, offering both visual appeal and a calming atmosphere.

What made you decide to start this project?
We have recently completed a full house renovation, and this bathroom was the first room we tackled. Even before we finalised the purchase of the house, we visited Morland Bathrooms, where Charlotte was instrumental in guiding our design choices. Her assistance was invaluable, as it meant that once we received the keys, we had a clear vision for the style and aesthetic we wanted to achieve.

Where did you draw your inspiration from?
Our main inspiration for the design came from the Toucan tiles. We spotted them during our first visit to Morland’s and instantly fell in love!

What was the most challenging part of the process?
The most challenging aspect of the bathroom renovation was the layout. Given that the original bathroom was made up of a separate bathroom and WC, the primary difficulty was designing a layout that could incorporate a spacious shower, bath, wall-hung vanity unit, and WC, all within a single room with two windows.
Charlotte cleverly suggested constructing a stud wall to create a recessed wetfloor shower enclosure. This design allowed us to mount the vanity unit on the reverse side of the stud wall. Additionally, this compact stud wall effectively conceals all the pipework for both the shower and the tap, and it also accommodates a recessed mirror cabinet. We imagine the plumbing for this setup presented a separate challenge for our installer, Callum!

What do you love most about your bathroom?
Our goal was to create a space that felt both bold and balanced, with an overall sense of luxury, and we’re thrilled with the result.

How did you find the process from start to finish?
The entire process, from start to finish, was faultless. Charlotte communicated well throughout, and Callum, Morland’s recommended installer, was fantastic. He went above and beyond, making the entire experience smooth and turning the 3D visual into a dream bathroom.

How does the end result make you feel?
The final result is a space that perfectly balances design and function. It is both visually stunning and calming, creating a true retreat at the end of a long day.
