What made you decide to start this project?

Our en-suite bathroom required refurbishment and had developed a leak so had to be replaced.

Where did you draw your inspiration from?

We wanted a luxury, 5-star hotel feel for our en-suite.

Having previously used Morland’s in-house design services and products for our family bathroom, we visited the showroom on the Calls, in Leeds. The bathroom displays really helped with inspiration and to enable us to visualise what style may suit our house. We particularly liked a Burgbad sink and unit with accompanying Diurne Oxide tiles that were on display.

What was the most challenging part of the process?

The design and product selection were all done via consultation with Morland’s in-house design team which was invaluable.

Finding a reputable bathroom installer was the hardest part. All recommended fitters had a full order book and we had to wait 3 months for an installation date. From commencement, the installer took care of everything else. We opted for a complete build package rather than employing individual trades. Although potentially more expensive it proved to be the best, quickest and least stressful option. Complete demo and install in circa 2 weeks.

What do you love most about your bathroom?

What a transformation! It has certainly met the brief! The tiles look great and the bathroom is luxurious and bespoke. For us, it has the wet-room wow factor that we wanted!

How did you find the process from start to finish?

Frankly, quite effortless. Morland’s were instrumental in the success due to the planning, product selection and on-time delivery. Any issues were sorted by return meaning the installation team were not delayed. Morland’s were also on hand to field any questions raised by the installer during the build process.

How does your finished bathroom make you feel?

It’s like stepping into complete luxury! It is stylish whilst not compromising on form or function. We love everything about it, from the layout to the tiles to the sink and gold accessories. Probably the best room in the house 😉
