This customer came to us upon recommendation of Moor Developments building firm in Ilkley. Moor’ were the builders contracted to the job and Morland’ supplied the product. The customer came across many hurdles during the renovation of her new home, but we were able to amend the quote and design to keep within budget. The finished bathrooms are really lovely and so like the design visual we created on our Virtual World software.

What made you decide to start this project?
Having retired, I thought I needed a ‘project’, so bought a property that had potential. The apartment hadn’t been touched since the 1980s so was ripe for renovation and refurbishing. New bathrooms were an essential component of this exciting development.
Where did you draw your inspiration from?
From a variety of sources: Experience having refurbished a few bathrooms previously; staying in wonderful hotels around the world; media to learn of fashionable trends – whilst keeping in touch with the Arts & Crafts style of the house.
What was the most challenging part of the process?
Keeping to a budget!
What do you love most about your bathroom?
Everything. The spaciousness.
How did you find the process from start to finish?
It was part of a much bigger project, so the bathrooms were just a small piece in the overall project. But, I went from not being excited about bathrooms, feeling that they were something purely functional to joy at the final outcome
