This customer visited the showroom in Autumn last year. They had already got their hearts set on the striking Bert & May Black Split tiles, so my job was to create a luxurious, yet fun ensuite bathroom for this couple to escape to after a busy day with their three boys.
The product was supplied by Morland Bathrooms, but they used their own installers for this bathroom.
I’m really looking forward to seeing what ideas they have for their upcoming family bathroom.
What made you decide to start this project?
We wanted to remodel our bedroom and ensuite to increase the size of the bathroom. With a growing family, we were keen to have our own en suite free from clutter and with room for a bath so this formed the basis of the design.
Where did you draw your inspiration from?
A lot of the inspiration came from Instagram. We spent some time looking online at brands we liked and visited a couple of show rooms to see some of the products in the flesh.
What was the most challenging part of the process?
Once we had selected the Bert and May split shift tiles, we spent a long time trying to decide which wall tiles would compliment them! Charlotte was extremely helpful and patient. She created a number of different visualisations to help us come to a final decision.
What do you love most about your bathroom?
Everything! The tiles are really bold and create a contemporary feel. The vanity unit is perfect for storage allowing the bathroom to remain clutter free and the sink provides a beautiful centrepiece.
How did you find the process from start to finish?
The design went really well, Charlotte spent a long time working with us to get the design right and went above and beyond to chase up products and keep us up to date on lead times.
How does your finished bathroom make you feel?
We are delighted with the end product. It is such a calming space, one which we will take joy from for many years to come.
